Leslie Richard McKeown (November 12, 1955 – April 20, 2021) was a Scottish singer most renowned as the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Bay City Rollers during their meteoric rise to fame in the 1970s. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, McKeown grew up in a working-class family. His father was a tailor and his mother a seamstress.
