The following events were organized/funded and produced by fans of the Bay City Rollers.  Please note, various team members created these spectacular events over the years.

STILL ROLLIN' 1974-2024 - EDINBURGH SCOTLAND  - 4 OCTOBER 2024

A fan gathering to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the release of the Bay City Rollers first full length release, Rollin' and the start of ROLLERMANIA! 

​

150 Fans from all over the world met up in Edinburgh to celebrate this amazing event!  Special guests/performers included: Derek Longmuir, Duncan Faure, Eileen Longmuir, Peko McKeown, Jubei McKeown, Phil Coulter and Teri Scoble.

TARTAN DAY PARADE - NEW YORK CITY - APRIL 15, 2023

Back by POPULAR DEMAND, Bay City Rollers Fans marched in the 25th Annual Tartan Day Parade honoring and celebrating their love of Scotland's boy band The Bay City Rollers and nearly 50 years of friendship within the fandom

45th ANIVERSARY OF BAY CITY ROLLERS DAY - BAY CITY, MI - AUGUST, 2022

Planning Committee:  Rebel D'Elia (Team Lead), Becky Hall, Cathy Rice, Jan Zalewski and Dawn Scroggins

​

Fans from all across the US met in Bay City, Michigan to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of Bay City Rollers Day where on Aug. 24, 1977 the Rollers were honored on the steps of City Hall and given the keys to the city. They left their hand prints in cement, which are now on display at a Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame display at the Historical Museum of Bay County thanks to the tireless efforts of team lead, Rebel D'Elia.

TARTAN DAY PARADE - NEW YORK CITY - APRIL, 2022

​

Bay City Rollers Fans marched in the 24th Annual Tartan Day Parade honoring founding member Alan Longmuir and showcasing the tartan created in his honor, The Proud Son of Edinburgh.

SUMMER LOVE SENSATION - 2021

​

45th anniversary celebration of the Bay City Rollers very first concert in the US. -- held in the Music Hall on Atlantic City's famous Steel Pier.  Fans from all over the US met up at this seaside resort to commemorate the anniversary.  As part of the celebration, an original theatre concert poster was donated to the Atlantic City Heritage Collection by a fan on behalf of Bay City Rollers Fan Events.

ALAN LONGMUIR MEMORIAL EVENT 2019 - Bannockburn Scotland

A celebration of the life and legacy of founding member Alan Longmuir

MOVE BACK - 2016

​

This event celebrated the 40th Anniversary of 40,000 fans taking over Nathan Phillips Square.  This event also had the privilege of presenting the North American premiere of I Ran With The Gang, The Story of Original Bay City Roller Alan Longmuir.  Note:  I Ran With The Gang came back to Toronto for an encore performance in 2017.

BAY CITY ROLLERS FLASH MOB NYC - 2015

​

Fans from all over the world met in NYC to Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Bay City Rollers first visit to US.  Braving Hurricane Joaquin, die-hard fans visited the Today Show, Top of the Rock, took a very cold and wet bus tour of the city and ended the day with a "flash mob sing-a-long" in Times Square.

BAY CITY ROLLERS 40th USANNIVERSARY 2015

​

The 40th Anniversary celebration of the Bay City Rollers arriving in the US was held in Philadelphia.  Special guests included:  Danny Fields, Carol Klefner and WFIL DJ "Banana Joe"  Les McKeown also held a modern day Meet and Greet across the ocean via Skype.

Fan Gathering held in Savannah, GA.  The event featured a full concert by Les McKeown and his Legendary Band.  Special guest founding member Alan Longmuir

DON'T LET THE MUSIC DIE  - 2001


Fan Gathering held in Liverpool attended by original drummer Derek Longmuir.  This event featured a Q&A session with Derek and an impromptu drum performance when he was encouraged to join Bay City Rollers tribute band Fab 208 for Shang -a-Lang.

UK2K - 2000


Fan Gathering held in Edinburgh attended by original lead singer Les McKeown.  This event featured a full concert by Les and his Legendary Bay City Rollers.

ROLLIN'  2000


Fan gathering held in Boston. 

ABSOLUTE ROLLER FEST  1999


This event was held in Philadelphia and featured in VH-1's Behind The Music episode on The Bay City Rollers.

REMEMBERIN' THE ROLLERS - 1999 


This event was held in Covent Garden, London and was attended by original lead singer Les McKeown.

SHANG A LANG 1999


Shang A Lang was a fan fest held in Toronto, Ontario.  Duncan Faure (who replaced lead singer Les McKeown when he left in 1979) and Stuart Woody Wood performed songs from the Rollers catalog and Woody did a meet and greet.

ABSOLUTE ROLLER FEST  1998


This event was held in New Orleans and featured a concert by Duncan Faure and surprised guest appearance by Ian Mitchell.  A joint concert was performed, followed by a meet and greet

ABSOLUTE ROLLER FEST  1997


This event was held in Las Vegas, NV.  Special guests were Ian Mitchell, Pat McGlynn and Nobby Clark who all performed a concert and meet and greet.

ABSOLUTE ROLLER FEST  1996


This event was held in Bay City, Michigan.  In attendance was former member Ian Mitchell who performed and participated in a Q & A Session.
